We all know how the orgs are so busy preparing and gearing up to compete in RiB, but did you guys know that CADs is also preparing and gearing up to compete? On the weekend right after RiB, the Company of Ateneo Dancers will be joining two major competitions.
On Saturday, September 26, Maximum Groovity 5 - an Inter-School Dance Showdown - will be held in the Crossroad Convenarium at Crossroads 77, Mo. Ignacia St., Quezon City at 7 in the evening. There will be 24 teams from 22 schools competing. CADs itself will have two teams in the competition, entering both Street and Jazz. CADs has already won this competition two years ago, with its Street team placing First. Tickets are priced at Php100 for Balcony and Php200 for Orchestra.
Then on September 27, Sunday, CADs will be at SM Megamall, Ortigas Center for the Skechers Streetdance Battle 5 Eliminations. CADs has placed Second and Third in the Skechers Finals for the last two years respectively. The Eliminations will be at 4 in the afternoon and admission is free.
The last three days of the coming week are going to be extra hectic for CADs and they need all the support they can get. Tickets may be bought from Vyen Villanueva, who can be contacted at 09178484505; or you may visit the CADs RiB Ticket Booth at the Kostka Extension from tomorrow (Tuesday) to Friday.
